Day 16: Talent Show/Last Day of Camp

Friday, June 15, 2012

I don't really have good stories from camp today because Morgan, Valdete, and I had to go get some pictures developed during the talent show. In English class, the students wrote about different topics and we took their writings and attached a picture of their group to it. While waiting for the pictures, we went to Edona for coffee/hot chocolate. We had some good laughs and good conversations there. I'm still finding cultural differences which continue to make me think about things that could be avoided/helped in both cultures if things were done or not done. When we got back, Morgan and I rushed to attach all the pictures and missed the talent show. Jeremy got some really good footage and I can't wait until the video is finished so you guys can see Kosovo in action!

Then it was time to hang out with students. A few of us (Evan, Morgan, Hannah, Jeremy, and I) got to go visit Fatos' house in Glance. We had pita, which was a fleja type thing but it had meat in it. It was really good. We also had Russian tea and cake. His mom and grandmother were so sweet.
