Day 12: Camp Day 4-Round Robin

Monday, June 11, 2012

I love our round robin days of camp. This time we had volleyball, basketball, futbol, and two English classes. Morgan and all the new moms/leaders helped with those classes and I got to do basketball.

Here are some pictures from the day.

They are all talented volleyball players.

Their gym is amazing. They have an indoor futbol/basketball court in there.

One of the English classes was a game room where they played hangman, did a puzzle where they had to connect the words, and played Snatch.

The other English room was where they got to develop their journal entry from last time. They had conversations about what they put and then wrote paragraphs on the topics.

After camp, a few of us went to Kulla and we experienced their calzones for the first time! Most of the afternoon was full of time with students. Some went to a "disco club" and danced while others went to houses/coffee/ice cream. I went to the Irish girls' (Lois and Gillian's) apartment to bake for Peyton's b-day party. The girls are from Ireland and are working alongside Berat.

It was Peyton's b-day so we celebrated with a small surprise party. It was a Kosovo/American party and songs/dances of both groups were represented.

We ended the night with manuscript study and a little singing before bed.
