Kosovo Favorite Memories (day 1-6)

Here are some of the favorite moments so far...

Landry Goodgame: my favorite memory was made today. Two of the girls on my color team came to our hotel and wanted to hang out! I was so excited because I have been scared that I wouldn't be able to make good friendships with the students. We went to a soccer game together then got ice cream, and right out of the blue, began to have some really deep conversation about life's real meaning. God is good! Yay!

Gabe: the best memory so far on this trip was when we went out to climb down from the castle in Prizron and a bear came out of the woods and I had to fight of the bear with nothing but my fists and mind. I got pretty beat up but I fought off the bear and it didn't disturb us the rest of the hike. So thanks to me, your children are safe.

Connor Gonzalez: my best memory is getting to spend time with the students and really getting to know them. I found I really had things in common with some of them.

Chace Cobb: My favorite memory so far was when Josh made me chug an ayran and I almost throw up but I didn't and then I felt really awesome. Building friendships with the Kosovars is pretty cool too. You know how it is.

Peyton: my favorite memory from the trip was the day when we went up onto the hill and sat and worshipped together. God's presence was so potent in those moments, and it was the first time I felt like we really connected spiritually as a team!

Morgan Crowley: my favorite memory was the first day if camp and seeing how excited all the students were

Sarah Sandler: my favorite memory was when we climbed up the hill and sang and prayed to God in the beautiful field

Ty Hopkins: my favorite memory thus far was seeing my Kosovars waiting for me at the air port. It was great.

Ivan Montoya : becoming friends with my boys from my group and building bonds

Zach Beavers: my favorite experience up to now has definitely been adapting to the culture and realizing the difference between my boys (Kosovars in my group) and I. The relationships we are building now are just beginning...

Cameron Schulte: My favorite memory so far was when we got off the plane in Pristina last week, and the Kosovar students were waiting for us outside. They were all smiles and super inviting! The Lord has blessed us as a group with great relationships with these kids, and I could not be more thankful for them.
