Teachers vs. 8th Graders Volleyball Game 2011

Last week we had a teachers vs. 8th graders game. So far in my teaching years we've played softball and basketball. This year we played volleyball. By far, this has been my favorite year. Jeremy came along to support and be the photographer.

I guess I thought I was playing basketball because I had my hands up. Maybe I was just singing a little song, "I throw my hands up in the air sometimes." The guy in the white is the science teacher on my team- Ben.

Okay, I guess I decided to put my hands down and get ready to beat the 8th graders.

This is where Jana and I spent most of the afternoon--- on our knees. We are still a little bruised and battered.

Team meeting or redistributing the teams so we don't dominate as much. This is where I got frustrated because my team didn't do so well.

We played all boys.

I had hecklers behind me. They really wanted me to mess up.

Skaggs is the greatest! He's the other PE coach (with Jana) and was a track coach with me.

Okay, maybe I can focus now. I told Skaggs I need to be on Jana's team again because I do better!

I love this... It's focused on me watching Jana serve.

Jennifer is doing such a great job at being a scorekeeper. I totally did this at SuperWOW to keep score!

Skaggs is changing up the teams again to give the students a "fair" shot. We totally dominated.
