I finished my gifted certification this weekend. YAHOO! Although this doesn't give me a pay raise, I am so thankful to have the opportunity to work with gifted students. I had the pleasure of having two cluster classes this year. Cluster classes are classes with gifted and non-gifted students.
We are down to four days with the kids. They are so ready for the summer, well most of them. There are some who do not want to have summer break because they will have to sit at home and don't get to see their friends, but other than that they are counting down. Of course our patience runs thin as students continuously break the rules, but we are holding on tight!
Marriage:
We celebrate our 4 year anniversary on Thursday!
Summer:
Some of our friends from Grace asked if we wanted to go on a trip with them this summer. The trip is planned for the end of July. We are going to go to some national parks out west. The plan is to fly into Vegas, drive to Sequoia and King's Canyon, do some hiking there, drive to Cedar's Grove and see some falls/do some hiking, drive to Yosemite, do some hiking there to see some falls, drive to Mammoth Lakes, do some hiking, drive to Vegas, see a show and relax, drive to the Grand Canyon, do some hiking around the Upper Rim, go to Zion National Park, hike, and then drive back to the airport. It will be a lot in 11 days though. We will do some camping along the way too. This should bring many blogs and adventures in about 2 months!
I am also helping out at Impact in Toccoa. I will be on security staff again. I'm a little nervous about it. It's weird because I have been at Impact 6 or 7 years and have always been pumped about it. I'm sure it will be fun, but I am just a little apprehensive. This will be Jeremy's first year not going in quite some time. He will stay busy at work that week I am sure!
