I love this time of year. I also love this weather that we've been having. I can come home from school and go running without being an icicle when I get back. Christmastime also brings lots of fun things like parties and crafts. Here are just some of the things we've been up to.
I found a neat project on Pinterest involving a wedding invitation. I cut up our wedding invitation and put it in an ornament for our tree. It was extremely easy and I had fun doing it.
We had our faculty Christmas dinner Tuesday after school. I laughed quite a bit. The administrators were wondering who was laughing so much. Jana and I have had some fun with the gingerbread lady the past few years, and this year was no different. We stepped up the prank this year. We hid the lady in people's rooms. They'd walk in their room in the morning and be surprised by her standing on their chair or hiding under their desk. It was a mystery of who was doing this! We even "gingerbreaded" the principal! On day our secretary got a little sad the gingerbread lady wasn't in the media center for the business partner breakfast, since she had been keeping one of the other teachers company for the day. Oh well. We had to get pictures with the gingerbread lady and her lover at the Christmas party.
Oh, if you can only imagine us running around the school and hiding when we'd see people... Oh it was a sight!

Last night we had our Christmas party. We've planned to have one every year but we've never had a place for it. Now that we have a good hosting house, we plan to have a party each year to gather our friends together. We were sad some of our closest friends weren't able to make it, but we both feel the evening went really smoothly. Laughter, conversation, and good food filled the house.
Here are just some of the pictures from the evening.
Me and Amber- my running buddy and the FCS teacher at my school.
Okay, a closer look. One of our b-ball girls, the one who ran the 5k with us, gave us these for Christmas!
