Long Overdue- February and March

Aiden had her 11th birthday over a month ago now, and I'm just now getting to putting the pictures on my computer. I guess this is what a coaches life is like! I rushed and got Momma's surprise party pictures up but time slipped away from me. Aiden is my Gym Dogs buddy. We have lots of fun sitting beside each other at the meets. We laugh lots and I'm super thankful to have such a sweet niece like her.
She racked up on jewelry! She's an accessory diva now.
3 years difference in the two youngest-Rowan and Patton, but not for long because Daphne's having another baby!
Micah loves to get in pictures!
It was a beautiful February day so we even went outside to chat. We watched the chickens and enjoyed the fresh air.
Patton enjoyed watching the others play. He was quite jealous of the fun they were having.
Hm... You can't see this very well, but the Rosbury's have a pizza tree growing in their yard!
Beautiful Aiden and her cake
You see the owl displayed quite nicely on the door. Every year they have the owl they also have a baby!

One day I had a Gym Dogs meet and Jeremy put together our basketball goal while I was gone. I've loved playing after track practice. It reminds me of my growing up years. I'd go to track practice and then come home and play basketball. These days I go to track and watch, then go run myself, and then I get to play. One more little step in there is okay. The wonderful weather has really given me so much energy.
Here's our house in the spring. We have some pretty colors all around. You will also notice our HUGE rose bushes have been trimmed to a nub. Our house looks totally different doesn't it?!

Here are the pretty colors in the backyard.

I don't ever recall actually finding a four leaf clover. Last weekend we had a track meet on Saturday. It was an extremely LONG one. We had to be at the school at 7:20 AM and got back about 6:00ish. The last kid got picked up about 6:30. While waiting, the coaches and our last student waited and looked through a patch of clovers. Both Brooke and I found a 4-leaf clover. Two days previous to this one had been Saint Patrick's Day so it made it extra fun to find it.

I signed up for my first 5k. I will get to run it in a few weeks. I have been running quite a bit lately to train for it. Jana said she'd give me $20 if I beat her. She is much more in shape than I am, I mean she teaches PE all day. Signing up has really encouraged me to run and given me a purpose for running. I'm super excited about the race. My real goal is to finish without walking. I have run the distance of a 5k at the park a few times now, but I'm trying to cut down my time to around where Jana's is so I can run with her and not by myself. It's a lofty goal, but I have 2 more weeks to train. I only have one more week of track so that gives me 1 solitary week to train without track. Speaking of track, I have loved every moment of coaching. It has been wonderful and has given me some wonderful memories. I'm looking forward to this week. We have two track meets (one got canceled because of rain today so we are doing it on Thursday). We get to host the league meet on Saturday. It is going to be fun but hopefully not too stressful.
