I've started my last class for my gifted program. YAY! Jeremy said what are you going to do once you finish this? I didn't know what I'd do with all my time once I finished my masters. I finished it a year ago now and you can see it didn't take me long to start my gifted certification. I laughed and told Jeremy I'd probably start another program, but we will see. I may just be lazy and spend my evenings doing things I enjoy. So far, I have really enjoyed this last class. The textbook is pretty intriguing and I've read quite a large chunk of it this morning. I am trying to get ahead and complete assignments so I won't have to do much during the next few weeks. That's the great thing about online classes. I can see the assignments and work at my own pace depending on my schedule.
Due to Jeremy's new job at Grace, he is not doing SuperWOW this summer. It is difficult for him to get things done at both churches if he is not around. This may or may not mean I have a pretty open summer for the first time in 7 years. The past 7 years of our lives have been forever changed by being part of this wonderful ministry. We have made many memories, made many new friends, and helped make an impact on the lives of others. As a result, our lives have been impacted greatly. In addition, God has grown us during these years and we have loved serving him through this ministry. I have truly embraced some phrases like "stress is overrated" and "No ones job is done until everyones job is done". We still hope to do Impact this summer though no matter what.
We love continually having the realization that we own a house, or a portion of the house to be correct. It will hit us during random times and continually makes us grateful. We were able to host my mom's surprise party and my Bible study group recently. We always wanted it to be a place where we could invite people and it is starting to fill its role, when we are home. Key words, when we are home. We met our first neighbor (we didn't already know) recently. I can't remember if I already blogged about this. He commented on the fact we are never home. Yes, it's true, when Jeremy has 2 jobs and I have a job that is notoriously known for the hours employees spend working on things plus being a coach, we do stay a tad-bit busy. However, we LOVE what we do and wouldn't trade our jobs for any other.
