Surprise!!!

Daphne, Miriam, and I got a facebook message a few weeks ago from Kay, one of Momma's friends. She asked if we were planning anything special for Momma's birthday this year. We had to get the ball rolling pretty fast because we didn't even think about it! We decided to do a surprise party. We came up with people we wanted to invite, made out a food list, and sent out invitations/called people. To throw Momma off, we told her we were going to celebrate her birthday with dinner at our house on Saturday so we could celebrate Aiden's birthday on Sunday (which is actually the truth)! Daddy pretended he didn't even know about dinner at my house. She didn't have a clue! The Robinsons, Daddy, and I went to Costco Saturday morning to get all the food. Everything went as planned and we had such a grand time.

Here's her "Happy Birthday" sign and presents. Daphne spent hours on the sign.
She tricked us and came through the back door! She heard the kids playing in the backyard. Her friend Helen was walking down the street when they got to the house. We thought was ruined, but she didn't even see Helen!
She was so excited to see people.
Everyone had such a nice time talking!

Dinner is always a time of laughter when Cindy's around. She was giving me some very important lessons on being a plant owner. When they wilt like this... as shown by her posture, then you water them and they will pop back up.
Daddy convinced her Miriam wanted to take a picture of them so they both changed clothes to look nice for the picture! Daddy's a little schemer!

Friends and family came from all over the state.

She got some pretty sweet cards and gifts too.
She even told a story. People are all ears when she tells stories!

She got a little chalkboard plaque. The kids thought it was a necklace. They had fun writing on it.

I hope it was a happy birthday! We all love you Momma!
