We ended July with a bridal shower for Miriam. My friend Christi made the cake.
Yes, we love Chinese food, but we also love to read our fortunes and laugh. Half the time Jeremy's aren't fortunes. What a fun way to start the school year?! Who would have known I would have some of the best kids ever?!

After a long summer of camps, Jeremy crashes. He is at every birthday party during August, but he may be sleeping. Just kidding. He gets up at 5:30 AM on Sunday's for church, so he crashes and has a nice Sunday afternoon nap in the living room of my parent's house every week!
She looks surprised in a fake way! She got some money. I guess she will be able to buy a laptop now... Maybe not. We don't give that much money!

Micah's 4 year old b-day party. Here are some of the party-goers having fun!
If these two people are at a party, I will laugh at least once!
Rowan is his right hand man! These two are too cute, but when they go missing we know there might be trouble! (recent story- They got into momma's car and drew on the windows with lipstick)

What do four year olds ask for for their birthday? Micah asked for a REAL, red motorcycle. Hm... That wasn't on my list... He also asked for traffic cones. Momma gave him some little ones. They were too little, so he said his kitties could use them. He has imaginary kitties who are pretty active.
This four year old loves iphones, ipods, ipads (big thing), and computers. He put this itunes card to good use.

How cool! It's a magnifying glass!
I love it!
He can't believe he has so many fun presents!

Miriam is thinking----- "I'm ready to have this baby!" You will have to eat some eggplant parmesan, and wait two more weeks before PBR comes. Sorry.
Curious George Cake
Look how big you are getting! I really feel like he grew up into a four year old over night!

Nice job!

Terren is too cute!

Hm.... Corrine is thinking about something.

Hm.... Corrine is thinking about something.
Hannah and Ethan say, "Cheers! Happy birthday Micah!"

Christian loves the cake, can't you tell?!

Curious George Pinata- Oh sad George- Micah decided to pull off all the strings at the beginning of the party so we decided to transfer him into a hitting pinata. Our family makes do with hanging the pinata on a stick and hitting it with anything we can find. Stacy got to hold the stick.
Momma and Daddy reused a bag... The tag said "From Andrea and Randall" hmm.. I thought they were my parents!

We waited and waited for little PBR to be born. He's finally here! Welcome Patton Brooks Robinson. He arrived August 25th. He has his own birthday and doesn't share one of ours! I was able to be in on the action too because it was after school!! He was 8 lbs 12 oz... Yes those are the numbers of my birthday. I tell you he is going to love his Aunt Laura.
In all of the above pictures, Micah had just been awaken from his nap. He got to stay at school all day long. They wore him out. Jeremy picked him up and they played some more. When I opened the car door he was out of it! It took me a few minutes to wake him up!
Patton came home on Friday, so I got to see him on the weekend. He is super-sweet and loves his Aunt Laura. His bilirubin levels got a little high though and he had to go back into the hospital and lay under some lights on Monday. He is back at home now and is quite a healthy little boy!
