School's out for Summer!

School is FINALLY over. The kids were done last Friday, but we had 3 days of post planning. It was a lot of sitting around. My room was packed up the first day. 

The last week of school was pretty hectic. A few of our kids were suspended and so that made for less students! It was the week of IMPACT as well. It's one of the BEST camps and I really missed it last year, so I decided I couldn't miss it this year. I ended up driving back and forth from Toccoa (well I rode with another person/teacher that wanted to go). It was worth the little sleep though!

Now the summer is here. In about 30 minutes we will be leaving for our trip to Jekyll. We pretty much have the same staff as last year which is really neat. It will be a long day of driving. Tomorrow we will set up- t-shirt booth, admin. booth, and auditorium. Set up days are really long and tiring.
