Here's my bulletin board... Yeah- it was put together in a short period of time and I'm not an elementary education major, so I didn't learn the art to making a PRETTY board! It's the best I could do with the time I had though.
There's the tiki torch, cymbal, and survivor packs.
My classroom has been transformed into an island! While my kiddos review for the CRCT, they are competing in a little Survivor game. Each class period was in a terrible plane crash and their seats (floatation devices) led them to a nearby island. Each class is on a different island and are trying to stay alive. They have formed tribes and they have to compete in 5 different challenges. The challenging tasks deal with important concepts we have learned this year and they can gain immunity by solving problems correctly. At the end of each class period, the tribe with the least amount of golden crct passport points loses an item from their survival pack (clothing, shelter, food, or water). If they have the most points, they have the privilege of having the tiki torch for the next day. The cymbal is for making the students aware it is time to switch cards with problems on it. Every 5 minutes I hit the cymbal with the mallet. Imagine being my neighbor!!! My kiddos are so funny and have gotten all into it. Don't you wish you were in my 6th grade class. :)

How fun!
you're the best laura! can we play games at swow this summer? maybe we can make everyone who comes to the admin booth asking questions guess their own answer. if they are right, they don't have to pay us. but if they're wrong, they must give us one of their possessions...i like it.
I love it marsha!!!!! I think it's a good idea... however we have to say we don't take HUMANS as possessions!
