Painting

Amber, Beth, Jennifer, and I went to dinner at Olive Garden before going to Masterpiece Mixers. Jennifer and Beth had been to this place for Jolynn's birthday and were much more impressed than the place we went in May with our Bible study. I was rushed at that other place and couldn't keep up with the instructor. I'm glad to say that this place was WONDERFUL and we had a blast.

People love sitting by Beth but are sometimes intimidated by her artsy ability. I got to sit by her this time. She said, "It's okay, Laura will talk until we start the painting and then we don't hear from her again until the end." It's totally the truth. I go into a zone when I'm painting. I don't really know what's going on around me. This time I was able to come in and out of my zone to participate in some of the conversations and sing some of the songs, but other times I was concentrating so hard I probably didn't hear anything that was going on around me. Our instructor patiently waited and was much better than the guy at the other place and I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who wanted to go paint.

It's finished!

Finally, I can breathe again.
