I thought you might enjoy some "before" and after pictures. These are the before ones!

Bedroom/entertainment room/place for our bookshelves right now. Yes, one wall is entirely painted with stripes!

The pile of boxes. We had to use them all at least once and possibly 2 or 3 times. We had a wonderful moving crew made of family and friends. They'd bring me boxes and I'd put them away as fast as they could bring them to me!

We are all moved in! I thought you would now enjoy some pictures of the house thus far.

There are some rooms that are in the works right now, so they might not be in these pictures. One of the is a bedroom we are using for an entertainment room (as of late). The room has our old entertainment center/set with a tv and the game cube. Of course the 360 and Wii are in the living room. We also have our bookshelves in there until we decide what to do with our "office/library" room. We are taking it room by room though and those are the two rooms we have left.
Maverick loves to be in the car. We borrowed my parent's work truck to bring Maverick and all his stuff over (house, crate, bowls, bones, water dispenser). He doesn't have a lot but his stuff is big! We left the pool in the shed so we will definitely need that at some point! He was excited and loved every moment of the ride. He stopped liking to come into the cottage. I think he knew there wasn't enough room for him, but now he realizes the house is bigger and loves to walk around in the sunroom. At night, we have him sleeping in his crate in the garage just to make sure he doesn't bark. We are glad to say he's adjusting well!
Here's a view of the master room. This is part of our new furniture. We are in the process of picking out new bedding because the color doesn't go well with the walls. We will move this bedding to our old bed which is in another bedroom/guest bedroom.

Our dresser with the plastic on the pulls! We just got this furniture yesterday. We haven't even had time to put things in the dresser or chest yet. You can see here we also got our carpet cleaned. It looks really good. Jeremy said all kinds of stuff came up in the vacuum.

Here's our new table. It even came with a lazy susan. I just laughed because Jeremy didn't even know it had a name!

This is the dining room and my Maw-maw's old table. I used it in college and at the cottage. We added the leaves and extra chairs to it. We are halfway looking for a dining room table but this will do for now. We aren't in a rush.
This is a view of the sunroom from the kitchen/breakfast area side. You can see where my priorities were when we were moving in (putting up the tree).

One of the bathrooms that attaches to the office. We are using this bathroom as we scrape and recaulk in the master bath.

The living room

We had a difficult time placing furniture in the house because of the room layout. We decided to use our sofa in the living room and the love seat in the sunroom. I think it has worked out well. We are going to get a chair for the living room so we at least have a little more sitting room.

View of the living room from one of the openings in the sunroom.

This is what our living room looked like at the cottage. You can see we can expand our wings a little more. We have been told we are going to fill up the empty closets and cabinets quickly. We beg to differ. We don't ever want to be pack rats, but we also don't want to get things just to get things. We know we will accumulate more stuff, but we want to channel it into the right places and only get the things we need.
