Jeremy's great-grandmother turned 95 this past weekend! We let off 95 balloons to celebrate. The newspaper came and took pictures too. It was a fun celebration.
Here's Grandma James. She is such a joyful lady. She still prays for her family daily by name. She forgets things sometimes, but I she knows who I am every time I see her! Here she's in a wheelchair just because it was easier for her to get around in the yard for the party. She has a walker and gets around fine. She still lives by herself. A nurse comes and stays with her some during the day, but she is still in really good health!

Grandma James blew out her candles without a problem, but she was crying the whole time. She was very emotional, even when we sang to her and let off the balloons. She was so grateful for the party with her family.

Last Sunday was Daddy's birthday and it was the day Momma and Martha were robbing their bee hives, so we all traveled up to Banks county to my grandfather's house. We ate lunch and celebrated Daddy's b-day.

Daddy trying to blow out the candle. After all the times we have used the candle app, he still didn't know how to get the candle out. He licked his finger!!!

Daddy opening his cards with the grandchildren around him. They make the coolest cards!

Momma and my wonderful aunt Martha decided to get into be keeping over a year ago. They have hives in Oglethorpe county and in Banks county. Here are some of their hives at my grandfather's house. They were getting ready to rob the hives of their honey.
Martha's inspecting the honey. They didn't get much the first year, but that is expected. The "girls" will do better next year though!

Monday, Chick-fil-a gave away free chicken sandwiches if you wore a team shirt/jersey. I was pretty excited, however, I knew Jeremy wouldn't be able to get a free one. He doesn't wear shirts with logos on them because he doesn't like to be a walking advertisement. Well, I was looking through his closet and I found a Georgia shirt. All this time I didn't think he owned one! Thanks Cindy- you saved us $2.50 or $3.00 today! Doesn't he look so happy?!
After we ate at chick-fil-a, we enjoyed a nice afternoon swimming in the pool and cooking out. It's always fun to hang out with the fam.
At the end of the weekend Jeremy said, "We need a weekend to relax now after this weekend." It was true. We needed at least a day to sit and not do anything, well that didn't happen. This week was just as busy as the weekend. Tuesday I had a faculty meeting after school. After that Jeremy and I ate with my parents and I cleaned out the basement closet... hm... It has been a project I have dreaded. It looks a lot better and my mom was happy to have the closet clean I think! Wednesday was a really big day. My principal won "National Principal of the Year" and so we had a huge celebration at school. GA's state superintendent came with many other dignitaries and congratulated her. I then stayed late to let kids work on our spirit banner and we went and ate with some friends at their new house. Thursday I had math tutoring after school until 5 and then we ate dinner with Cindy and Jeff. Phew. I'm getting tired just thinking of the week. Jeremy had to stay late pretty much every day too b/c Hebron put up the video wall we use for SuperWOW and Jeremy's pretty much doing a lot of the work for it.
We have a fun weekend ahead of us, but it will fly by because again we are booked. Sigh...
