Shock of the day... This morning I looked on my Walden University website and noticed they had put my new classes up. I have been waiting for them to do this, so I got excited and said why not pay my bill now instead of wait until later. So I paid the large sum of money for my next two classes. Although I love everything about the school I wish I could just go for free. I let out a sigh as I gave away my hard earned money. Then I decided to look at my account to see how much money I had left. Well when I went to look, I was in for a shock. My account didn't have enough money in it by a few hundred dollars. I then looked at all my purchases and was like I didn't spend that much on Black Friday... I went right into thinking how am I going to do this. I have a savings account where most of my money goes, so I thought hm... I guess I could send Jeremy to get money out of there and put it in my checking account and have it there in time for tomorrow when the transaction processes. Then I went and woke Jeremy up and started panicing. I said I won't be able to buy Christmas presents. It's funny that I started thinking about that, when I know I can go into savings if I need to. He calmly said let's go look at your withdrawls. We did, but I hid the places I went so he wouldn't have any idea of where he might be getting a present, and we discovered the money from Walden had acted like it had already been taken out. Phew... Why don't I stop and calmly think when things like this happen? I started thinking and going into a panic instead of turning to God.
On a much lighter note, we got to go see Cindy, Steven, and baby Jake today. We teamed with the Kindig's and took them some lunch. Jeremy made his famous spaghetti. As you know we usually eat lunch with my parents on Sunday. We smelled spaghetti all morning and Jeremy started craving it, but we knew we wouldn't be having spaghetti for lunch because Momma has now given Jeremy the job of making spaghetti when we have it for lunch! We should have offered to make lunch for the family too and made lots of it for everyone, but we didn't think of that. We ate fast and then went and took them lunch. While we were there waiting on Steven to get home from church, I got to hold Jake for the first time. The Fruitticher's are doing well and love being parents. Steven had the whole week off from school because of Thanksgiving break. What a great week for Jake to come! I'm so glad they live close now too, I might just have to stop by on my way home from school since I know Cindy will be home!
