*We leave for New Zealand in 11 days. We are extremely excited. Our itinerary is booked solid. We will be doing a Lord of the Rings tour where they filmed. We are going to some rocks that are shaped like pancakes. We also are taking a helicopter ride to the top of a glacier. Evan and Morgan will get to travel around with us since it's her summer break from school. We will stay at their house for the first few days and then start traveling around the island.
*Our b-ball season isn't going too well. We don't have a lot of experienced players so we aren't doing that well. Jana was sick this past week and I had to be the head coach. I got Amber to join me because I was so nervous. We played Malcom Bridge and they are amazing anyway. Needless to say, we got slaughtered.
*We had our annual Christmas party last night. I would upload pictures, but now I'm getting the same error that Miriam got about using too much of my data on my blog. Wonderful. I guess that means you get more words than pictures today. That also means I may be changing blog names unless I pay the fee.
*We finished our 12 in 20-12 races yesterday. I don't think I've ever actually fulfilled a new years resolution. Well I don't ever really make one either, but this year I'm proud to say I did it!
*School is going. That's about it. I'm not loving it though. This early schedule is killing me mentally and physically. I'm exhausted at the end of every day.
*Jeremy got a new job. He started working a few days before Thanksgiving. He is the director of technology at a Christian school. So far he is enjoying it but there's a lot he needs to learn. It's definitely more of a challenge for him. He still works at Grace on Sundays and Wednesdays though.
*Thanksgiving week was crazy. I felt like every day was full. We had 4 meals of turkey, but we had some good times with family.
* We decided to lead the trip to Kosovo again this next summer. We will be doing interviews with the kids in January.
*Some of the Kosovo students were here for a month. We had some over for dinner, went out with Berat and Valdeta, and had a cookout for them at a park.
