Furniture/House Update

Last night, Saturday, October 23rd, we decided to go look at furniture. We have been looking off and on, but we haven't been serious about getting things because we don't know when we will get a house. One of Jonathan's friends, Joe, works at Underpriced Furniture. We decided to go up there last night and see what they had available. We ended up picking out a bedroom suite and a kitchen table. It's kind of exciting and scary at the same time. Next on our list of things to purchase is a refrigerator and dishwasher because those are also necessities.

I also had a dream last night about the house. It's funny because my dreams about this house in the past have shown I was scared/worried. Last night it wasn't. It was us moving in and putting things where they belonged. I remember the owners left some things so we were just finding places for our things plus theirs. They left things like puzzles and baby furniture. Why puzzles and baby furniture? Who knows?! I remember my family was there helping us move things in. It was more like a house for more people and just us. I feel like the family was moving in too. This may be because we are okay with having others live with us if they need a place to stay. Some people we know are getting married next summer and will not have money to get a place to live because the guy is in grad school. We told them they could live with us if we get a house. Another detail, there was carpet in the bathroom and I remember telling Momma that I needed to get a rug to put in there so the carpet wouldn't get wet.

We went by the house last week and the family had been evicted. We immediately called Julie and told her. It changed banks and real estate agents though. Julie called them and told them we were interested. They told us they would let us know when the appraisals were in. On Tuesday of this week, we were at Chick-fil-a and I saw one of my friends/team mates from high school. During our conversation, we got on the house subject. She said they looked at that house and she loved it. I cannot worry about someone getting the house over us though. The situation is in God's hand and He knows what is best. Jeremy got to go in the house on Thursday and see what is was like now all the furniture was gone. He said it is in good shape. They left the dishwasher. YAY! We even went looking for one last weekend because we wanted to be in the know of what we might want. We also looked at refrigerators so we could save a little more money. Jeremy ended up coming up to the school while I was doing math tutoring and he gave me lots of papers to sign because we decided to put an offer on the house yet again! I'm excited, but let's pray things go smoothly from here on out.

Oh, just a side note... If anyone randomly has any furniture around, like a dining room set, lamps, pictures, good book reading chairs, or bookshelves, and you want to get rid of them, we might be able to put them to good use! We'd pay you of course! :)

Sorry my posts are a little boring to most people. I wanted to keep track of the things going on though!
