YAY! It's finally spring break.
The kids were so ready to be out, but I kept making them work the entire week! Yes, I am so evil. The week was topped off with field day. Enjoy the pics.
Although we didn't win a single event, we had fun competing. Although I am extremely competitive, I wasn't at field day. I know you always hear "It's not about winning" but really it wasn't for us (well not for me). We are really working on getting along and working together to accomplish a goal. So many of my kids dominate and just want to be the center of attention. Although this is a characteristic of middle school students, they are THE extreme case. I have a group of about 7-8 boys (depending on the day) that make me want to pull out my hair many days. I was SO proud of my class though. They didn't complain or yell at each other the entire time! Go McBryar Madness. Maybe they will have learned something in terms of kindness by the end of the year... I have a long way to go in 6 weeks.
Oh yeah--- Pelphrey's back, I think I forgot to mention that. She came back right before the CRCT. It's so good to have our team back together!

Every day I thought about it when I was taking up money. I kept forgetting to ask you though. The craziness with the guitar hero thing that day REALLY made me forget to ask you and I only had enough money to get myself one that last day. You will definitely get one next year...
